WHAT WILL YOU GET FOR YOUR MONEY:

Ferry crossings (when applicable), all hotels and secure parking. The wind in your hair. Enough limes to stave off scurvy. Biscuits for picking the weevils out of. Dubloon-Hoon Driver's Pack, Dubloon-Hoon vinyl’s, smugglers sack, map and one lucky condom. And a balloon.

WHAT YOULL HAVE TO LOOT:

All other costs are excluded.

Examples of accommodation exclusions: - snacks, hooks, replacement patches, drinks, newspapers papers, any room service items, bail, replacement tunics, cutlass sharpening and anything you order while at the hotel. Your room will be fully paid for when you arrive but you will need your credit card to check in and you must pay any outstanding bills before checking out. Any wenches must be checked in at the desk on arrival.

Ferry crossings: if you miss a ferry crossing and need to book another to catch up with the group, it is your responsibility to pay for any incurred costs. Or sail like the devil was at your back.

Other examples of costs, which are your responsibility, are: -
Fuel, Road Tolls, smart/ formal Hooks and Any Fines.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE?

In order to join our crew you must be aged 18 or over. Or look great in a dress.

WHAT IF A STORM BLOWS UP OR I FALL IN LOVE WITH A FAIR MAIDEN?

Upon request, we may be able to make minor adjustments to your booking as long as we are advised as soon as possible. Don’t test our nerve on this one, we're very tetchy.

CHANGES WHAT WE MIGHT MAKE

ALTHOUGH UNLIKELY, IT'S POSSIBLE FOR SMALL AMENDMENTS TO YOUR BOOKING TO BE NECESSARY. AS BOOKINGS ARE MADE WITH SUPPLIERS MANY MONTHS IN ADVANCE, SOME CHANGES MAY BECOME UNAVOIDABLE. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ANY CHANGES WE NEED TO MAKE IMMEDIATELY. MINOR CHANGES WOULD ENCOMPASS CHANGES TO A FERRY TIME UP TO MAJOR CHANGES SUCH AS A CHANGE OF HOTELS. OR A FORCED EXIT AS THE POLICE ARE HOT ON OUR TRAIL.


CANCELLATION MADE BY US OR AN ANGRY SEA

We retain the right to cancel The Dubloon-Hoon under any circumstance.

If an alternative tour is available to you we will offer you this option or we will allow you to utilise your fee in full or part for another tour. If you decline this alternative you are entitled to a refund of any money received from.

We retain the right to ban your participation in the Dubloon-Hoon if we are made aware of any illegal, inappropriate or antisocial behaviour on your part and you will not be entitled to any refund and we will not be liable for any additional costs that you incur as a result.

FORCE MAJEURE

Force majeure, means any event which we or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control. In this case we regret no refund will be available. Even if we caused any or all of them.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE

You must keep to all laws and regulations of each country the Dubloon-Hoon travels through. Without limitation these include speed limits, your vehicle condition (e.g. Insurance, MOT and V5) riving while under the influence of any intoxicating substance(s). Apart from rum, obviously. You must also hold a valid uk driving licence and passport. And your own cutlass.
You are responsible for your behaviour and the Dubloon-Hoon cannot be held responsible if you partake in any illegal or antisocial behaviour. You agree to indemnify Dubloon-Hoon in full, against any attempt by any third parties to bring a claim as a direct result of any breach by you of any laws or regulations during your participation on the Dubloon-Hoon.

CAR LIVERY

You may be required to place vinyl livery on the exterior of your car. The vinyl is specifically designed to be applied externally to vehicles without damaging paintwork. However, the vinyl’s are supplied by a third party and, as such, Dubloon-Hoon take no responsibility for any damage caused during the application or removal of vinyls.

IMAGE RIGHTS

You hereby agree to any photographs or video footage being taken of you or of your property. You agree to allow Dubloon-Hoon the full use of these images or footage for any future Dubloon-Hoon promotions and any commercial purposes we see fit. You may take your own pictures and video footage for personal consumption only and not for any commercial gain after the event. No retrospective claims may be made for invasion of privacy or defamation if you have not notified us beforehand that you do not agree with the above.

CHARITY HOONS

For those hoons deemed a 'charity hoon' the profits will be passed to the charity as noted. We term profits as the money raised in excess of the total price of all participants bags of stuff required for the hoon (clues, balloons, maps, patches etc). We do NOT include any money in that figure for our time or our costs, and nor do we deduct any for these factors. The money calculated for costs is purely that as detailed above, i.e. specific hoon needs. Nor do not pass on the cost of stock previously purchased by ourselves.

LIABILITY

OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

We will try to ensure that all elements of the Dubloon-Hoon we have agreed to provide as part of our contractual obligations are carried out with reasonable skill and care. Regarding the supply of any goods and services, we are not liable to you or a member of your party for any injuries, liabilities or any other losses incurred, except where it is expressly stated within these terms and conditions. Our total liability to anyone presenting a claim, relating to a negligent act by us, shall not exceed the total cost of the Dubloon-Hoon.

THIRD PARTY LIABILITY

Any part of the Dubloon-Hoon which involves the services or provisions of a third party will be governed by the terms and conditions of each third party.

YOUR LIABILITY

In entering the Dubloon-Hoon, you do so completely voluntarily and with the knowledge that if as a direct result of your actions, you or any member of your party have any accident, injury or other incident it is entirely your responsibility and you hereby indemnify Dubloon-Hoon and its Directors and Agents in full against any claim brought about by you, a member of your party or a third party.

VARIATIONS

Occasionally it may become necessary to adjust these terms and conditions. If this happens you will be advised of the changes and then offered the option to withdraw from the Dubloon-Hoon and obtain a full refund of your money paid so far.

LAW

These Terms and Condition shall be construed in accordance with English Law.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking your place on the Dubloon-Hoon you hereby agree to have read and fully understood the terms and conditions and hereby agree to be bound by them. If after reading these term and conditions you require further explanation of any section or their meanings, you must contact us before paying any deposit.
